Agnino

Agnino is a fraction of the 90 that form the town of Fivizzano in the province of Massa-Carrara. The patron of the country is St. Michael the Archangel but are also revered Jenesien and San Rocco. The fraction is composed of three core areas that are called Castello, Villa and Piazza. The Castle is a group of houses that s'addossano to a rocky leap around the remains of a boundary wall with towers round. The Villa is the largest village, with houses perched, bars, bakeries and ovens of the post office. The Town Square is higher on the road that leads to Quarazzana and is the place where there are the Church and the cemetery.
